PETROVAC NA MORU - PICTURE GALLERY |
Petrovac is coastal town in Montenegro, within Budva municipality. A 2003 census put the population at 1,485.
It is located on a road between Budva and Bar. It has a 600m long sandy beach, and is a popular tourist destination. It has an image of a somewhat "calmer" resort, compared with vibrant surrounding towns of Budva and Sutomore. About 1000m in the sea there are two small islands that substantially contribute to the exstetics of the village. They are St. Sunday (with remainings of a small chappel at the top of the island), and Katich (with a few pine trees). To the best of my knowledge, these two islands recently became the two most remote Yugoslav islands. |
